Lobkowicz wants to build its own restaurant chain

Staropramen has its Potrefená Husa, Plzeňský Prazdroj its Pilsner Urquell Original Restaurant network, Budvar its Original Pivnice Budvarka; Pivovary Lobkowicz wants to hold its own with them. Its boss and shareholder Zdeněk Radil said, in an interview for motejlek.tv, that the company would probably launch their own franchise restaurant project next year.

“We have been considering either building a restaurant chain from scratch, or acquiring an existing one. I won’t anticipate; I believe we will be able to do something next year. We have already been fitting out a few branded pubs with certain partners, but it is not true franchising yet,” Radil said.
